Antico Pizza Napoletana
The original Hemphill Avenue pizzeria Giovanni Di Palma opened in 2009 and built Little Italia around, with a Bib Gourmand. Worth knowing: its own site claims a Michelin star from 2023, and the guide lists a Bib Gourmand, which is what we publish.

Bacchanalia
Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison have run it since 1993, and it holds both a Michelin star and one of Atlanta's two Green Stars. The four-course prix fixe leans on organic produce, much of it from the owners' own farm, Summerland.

Broad Street BBQ
A South Downtown smokehouse built around brisket, ribs, chicken wings, and chopped pork. The room includes a full bar and sits within walking distance of the stadium and arena district. Reservations are available through the official site.
Fat Matt's Rib Shack
A casual Morningside rib shack built around barbecue and live blues. Online pickup, catering, private events, and the current music calendar are available through the official site.
Live music some nights. Go before the band starts if you want to talk.
Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q
The DeKalb Avenue original for the Fox brothers' Texas-style barbecue, including brisket, pulled pork, and smoked wings. The current official site also lists The Works and Brookhaven locations.
Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall
A BeltLine gathering place with American campfire food that is grilled and smoked rather than a traditional smokehouse menu. The Grove and Mess Hall offer extensive outdoor space, catering, and private-event options.
Wood's Chapel BBQ
Wood-smoked brisket, pork, chicken, and turkey share the menu with tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and quesadillas. The Summerhill room adds a large patio, game room, private dining, pickup, delivery, catering, and tequila-focused drinks.
